What is Moodle?

Moodle is a software platform that can be used to produce Internet-based courses and websites. It is a Learning Management System (LMS) accessed by using a web browser and can be used to add web technology to a teacher's course(s).The lecturers and students can access Moodle at any time and from any place where they have an Internet connection.

Moodle is offering lecturers and students powerful tools to manage and promote learning in an online or blended learning environment. LMS allows the lecturers to easily post course introduction, information, provide diverse learning materials and presentations. Lecturers can communicate with students, upload assignments, video, audio, create online self assessment quizzes and much more.
